Wendy Kirchner is a native of Port Lavaca and works as an RN, at Citizens Hospital.
She enjoys drawing and painting and spending time with her nephew, Nickolas, and
her nieces Kaylee and Camie. Her PLMST performances include Moon over Buffalo, Plaza
Suite, Faith County, Harvey, The Odd Couple (Male Version)andThe Christmas Angel.
Trey Mageluzzo (Trey) Trey is a newcomer to MST stage.
He is married to Sandy. They have two children Shanna (21) and Sasha (20). Also father
to two dogs Zena and Bear and one cat, Simba. He plays drums in a band and also enjoys
playing on the computer, and writing stories and songs. His acting included All I
Really Need To Know I learned In Kindergarten(2002).
Simon Mackenthun is a foreign exchange student from Bremen Germany. He is a junior
at CHS and a member of the Varsity football team. In the 3rd grade he made his acting
debut in Die Kleine Hexe ( The Little Witch ). Little Women was his first and unfortunately
his last production with PLMST in which he won the award for the Best Debut Actor
Johnny Krause is a detective for the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department. He and
his wife Stacey have two children, Hannah and Caleb. He enjoys playing music in his
band “ Tip Jar Romeo”, and playing sports, riding his motorcycle and being with friends.
Active in College theatre Johnny made his PLMST debut in Texas Tacky and has since
performed in The Christmas AngelandDaddy’s Dyin’.
Emerson Lane Audiences raved at Emerson’s return to the role he portrayed in the
PLMST first production of Texas Tacky in 1996. He was a member of the Calhoun County
Crime Stoppers Board and the YMCA of Calhoun County Board. Emerson has since moved
to Beaumont, Texas. He is surely missed. His PLMST performances include Driving
Miss Daisy, Can You Save Christmas?, Noises Off!, Barefoot in the Park, and Texas
Tacky again in 2005.
Sam Mitchell is employed by Alcoa and CCISD Transportation. He and his wife Cheryl
have 2 sons, and a daughter . Previous previous PLMST performances include Pirates
of Port Lavaca, Bench 18, The Taming of the Shrew, Texas Tacky, The Best Laid Plans,
and Over The River and Through the Woods.
Jill Nicholson was born in San Diego, California and moved to Texas in 1980. She
has lived in Port Lavaca since 1992. Jill is married to Todd Nicholson and has two
children Jarred (13) and Logan (4). She works at a local bank and is an active member
of the Point Comfort United Methodist church. PLMST performances include Blithe Spirit,
A Bad Year for Tomatoes, and Harvey.
Dorinda K. Norrell is a native of Calhoun County and was involved in speech and theatre
in high school. She is a court reporter and lives in Victoria with her husband, 2
daughters by marriage, and a menagerie of dogs and cats. Previous PLMST performances
include Steel Magnolias (1995 & 2000), Driving Miss Daisy, The Foreigner, Curious
Savage, The Glass Menagerie, Plaza Suite, Faith County, Blithe Spirit, Barefoot in
the Park, It could be any one of us, Over The River and through the Woods (2001)
and Over the River and through the Woods (2009). Dorinda was awarded the 1999 PLMST
Best Actress award for her role of Norma Hubley in Plaza Suite and the 2000 Best
Actress Award for her portrayal of M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias.
Joe Minjares and his wife Dolores have 3 children, Karen, Russell, and Jarrod and
5 grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Kelle, Jackie, and Cade. Joe has coached children
in baseball, basketball and volleyball for over 40 years. He is an avid bowler and
supporter of CHS sports and youth programs. Joe’s debut performance on the PLMST
stage was in And Sarah Laughed.
Bailey Leadbetter Has performed in 4 PLMST childrens plays. Pecos Bill and Slue-Foot-Sue
meet the Dirty Dan Gangwas her first performance on the adult PLMST stage playing
the part of “Cardholder”, “Town Folk” She enjoys acting, singing, dancing and speaking
about politics and religion. She aspires to be a missionary and travel to Africa.
Emily Leadbetter loves to act, dance and perform. Emily has performed in 3 PLMST
Michelle Mireles McMullen is a native of Port Lavaca. She is a graduate of Calhoun
High School, Texas Vocational Schools and Halco School of Modeling. Michelle has
been in several commercials and a music video. She enjoys playing cards, billiards,
sewing, floral design, shopping, decorating and spending time with family and friends.
Deadwood Dick was her debut on the MST stage. She also performed in Sorry Wrong Chimney
and Opal’s Million Dollar Duck, and Noises Off.
